Odessa presented the video from Everett’s office and the falsified-theft timeline. Priya testified that Wren had been her closest friend for eleven years. Mrs. Ferro described Wren’s daily care of Nadia with such precise authority that Everett’s attorney stopped trying to interrupt her.

Then Odessa called Odalys Voss.

Odalys repeated that her marriage was intact. Then Odessa displayed a refinancing agreement signed nine days earlier, consolidating $1.2 million in debt that Everett had hidden from his wife.

“Did your husband promise to keep your home out of foreclosure if you supported his custody petition?”

The courtroom became utterly still.
